VINEYARD
Located in the Willow Creek District, Paper Street Vineyard is Paso Robles’ most dynamic and exciting newly-developed vineyard site. It is planted to incredibly chalky, limestone-rich (white) soils that produce concentrated and vibrant wines with plenty of depth, character and balance. The Dusi family is well known for their farming history in Paso Robles; Paper Street Vineyard is a very compelling site.
FERMENTATION
Whole cluster pressed and cold settled in stainless steel. Stainless steel fermentation, followed by 9 months in neutral French oak barrels. 1/3 malolactic fermentation.
TASTING NOTES
Gravenstein apple, honeydew melon, kiwi, lemon zest, asian pear, and a core of minerality that continues to develop in the glass. Lifted, concentrated, showing a bright purity of fruit. Succulent. Balanced. Refreshing.
STORY
Countless were the musings and illustrations from my grandfather, the Artist to my grandmother, the Country Girl. And when his career took him south to Los Angeles in 1926, the common thread of all works and formal flirtations became one of motion and travel, to and from one another. His artful campaign was steady, quirky, and led to their wedding on August 9th, 1928 at St. Mary’s Church in Nicasio, California.
